What is a Skin Booster?
Skin Boosters can be thought of as injectable skincare that improves the quality of the skin matrix. The skin matrix is poorly understood. Whilst there is a lot of buzz around “collagen”, it is not the only thing living in our skin and each component of the skin matrix is equally as important at maintaining a youthful appearance. Different skin boosters will improve different parts of the skin matrix, so a successful treatment ensures maintenance of all components including collagen, elastin and proteoglycans made up of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) such as hyaluronic acid.

What Is the Downtime of Skin Boosters?
Skin Boosters are considered a low downtime treatment, but “no downtime” is misleading - there is typically some visible recovery, just usually mild.
