CaHA Biostimulator
Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) Biostimulator is a regenerative aesthetic treatment designed to support the skin’s natural repair processes. Biocompatible CaHA encourages the production of collagen, elastin and other components of the extracellular matrix, improving skin firmness naturally.
The Essentials
Best For
Skin laxity and crepery skin on the face, neck, hands and body, jawline definition, extensive scarring or stretch marks
Procedure Duration
30 – 45 minutes

1 – 2 sessions
Treatment Interval
Every 3 – 6 months depending on clinical condition
Downtime
Mild swelling, redness or bruising for several days
The Philosophy: Why CaHA Biostimulation?
As we age, changes occur not only in the skin’s collagen content but also throughout the extracellular matrix (ECM) — the supportive framework that helps maintain skin structure, elasticity and hydration.

Biostimulators ─ products that stimulate biological functions
But which biological functions?
It is important to differentiate a collagen biostimulator from an extracellular matrix (ECM) biostimulator. CaHA Biostimulators are ECM biostimulators that activate the body’s natural regenerative processes through improving all four above components of the skin matrix.

The Skin Matrix Is Not Just Collagen
Healthy skin relies on a complex extracellular matrix made up of several key components.

How Does CaHA Biostimulator Work?
CaHA Biostimulator is composed of two distinct components that work in different ways to provide both immediate volumisation and longer-term regenerative effects.
What Can CaHA Biostimulator Treat?

Facial Laxity

Neck Ageing

Uneven or sagging jawline

Crepery Hands

Acne scars and stretch marks

Can CaHA Biostimulator Be Combined With Other Treatments?
CaHA Biostimulator is frequently combined with other treatments to support skin regeneration at multiple levels.
Synergistic Combinations:
Lasers
If you have pigmentation, pair with lasers for brighter, more even-looking skin.

What to Expect During Your Journey

The Treatment
After cleansing and preparation of the skin, topical numbing cream and/or local anaesthetic may be used for comfort. The product is then placed using needles or blunt-tipped cannulas depending on the treatment area.
The Regenerative Phase
Unlike traditional fillers, the full effects of CaHA develop gradually. While some immediate structural support may be visible initially, skin quality improvements typically emerge progressively over several weeks as fibroblasts are activated and new collagen, elastin, proteoglycans and other extracellular matrix components are produced.

Ongoing Remodelling

A detailed assessment of your skin quality, facial structure and ageing concerns is performed. We discuss your goals and determine whether CaHA is suitable for your concerns and treatment objectives.
You may experience mild swelling, bruising, firmness or tenderness following treatment. This is a normal response and usually settles over the following days.
The regenerative process continues for several months following treatment. Over time, improvements in skin firmness, elasticity and overall tissue quality may become increasingly apparent as the skin undergoes remodelling.
