The Essentials

The Philosophy: Structural Support
Beyond The Face
Skin ageing and tissue laxity do not occur only on the face. Over time, collagen depletion, elastin weakening and changes within the subcutaneous tissues can affect the abdomen, arms, thighs, buttocks and flanks.
This may present as:
-
crepey or thinning skin
-
mild sagging after weight changes
-
reduced firmness
-
softer body contours
The Exion Body Programme focuses on restoring structural support within the skin through controlled thermal stimulation. Rather than relying on invasive surgery or aggressive tissue destruction, the treatment is designed to encourage the body’s own regenerative processes over time.
By combining monopolar radiofrequency with targeted ultrasound delivery, Exion Body is able to deliver energy into deeper tissue layers while maintaining safer surface temperatures and patient comfort.

What Causes Body Skin Laxity?
Body skin laxity develops through a combination of ageing, collagen depletion, pregnancy, weight fluctuations and environmental exposure.
There are three primary contributors to this change:

Hyaluronic Acid Reduction
Hyaluronic acid plays an important role in hydration and tissue support. As natural levels decline, the skin may appear less supple, more crepey and less structurally supported.
Exion RF Skin Tightening
increases hyaluronic acid by 224% after
4 sessions

Elastin Degradation
Elastin allows the skin to recoil and maintain resilience. With age and sun exposure, elastin fibres weaken, causing the skin to lose its “bounce” and ability to remain taut.
Exion RF Skin Tightening
increases elastin by 50% after 4 sessions

Collagen Decline
Collagen provides structural support and tensile strength to the skin. From our mid-20s onward, collagen production naturally slows while existing collagen fibres become thinner and more disorganised over time. This contributes to skin thinning, fine lines and loss of firmness.
Exion RF Skin Tightening
increases collagen by 47% after 4 sessions

What Can Exion Body Treat?

Mild Abdominal Skin Laxity

Arms (“Bat Wings”)

Inner and Outer Thighs
May improve loose or crepey abdominal skin, particularly after pregnancy or weight fluctuations.
Can support tightening of mild upper arm laxity and improve skin texture.
May improve crepey texture and mild skin looseness in the thigh region.

Buttocks

Flanks and Bra Bulge

Post-Weight Loss
Skin Quality
Can support skin tightening and smoother skin texture in the buttock area.
May help refine body contours and improve skin firmness in areas prone to tissue softening.
Can support collagen remodelling in patients experiencing mild residual skin looseness after weight reduction.

Can Exion Body Be Combined With Other Treatments?
Body ageing and contour changes occur across multiple tissue layers including skin, fat, fascia and muscle.
Exion Body primarily targets:
Skin quality
Collagen remodelling
Mild
Tissue Laxity
Depending on your concerns,
Exion Body may be combined with:

Biostimulators

RF microneedling

Medical Weight
Management Programmes
What to Expect During Your Journey
04
02
The Treatment
A treatment applicator is moved continuously across the skin while delivering controlled radiofrequency energy.
Most patients describe the sensation as a deep, comfortable warmth.
The procedure is generally well tolerated and typically does not require numbing cream.
The Evolution
Results develop gradually as collagen remodelling occurs over time. Some patients notice an early improvement in skin texture and firmness, while continued tightening and contour refinement typically evolve progressively over several weeks to months.
A series of treatments is generally recommended for cumulative improvement.

The Consultation
03
The Aftercare
We begin with a detailed assessment of the treatment areas, degree of skin laxity and your overall goals to determine suitability for Exion Body.
Downtime is minimal. Mild redness or warmth may persist for several hours after treatment.
Most patients are able to return to normal activities immediately.
